Dr. Abdulmonem Mohamed Al Marzooqi, Chief Executive of M/S Elite Agro LLC has been appointed by H.E. the President of Uganda as a Presidential Advisor on Agriculture. The instrument of appointment was presented to Dr.  Marzooqi by H.E. Zaake W. Kibedi, Ambassador of Uganda to the U.A.E on 17 February 2022 in the Ambassador's office. In the appointment, the President tasked tasked Dr. Al Marzooqi with these four responsibilities:

 

1. Contribute to the development of agriculture, food polices and regulations,

2. Collaboration with regional and international relevant agencies and organisations to transform Uganda into an Agri- Export hub, especially for coffee and tea crops,

3. Attracting investments into agriculture and food sectors into the country.

4. Transferring the best international practices and expertise in developing Uganda's agriculture and food sector.

 

Dr. Al Marzooqi received the appointment with gratitude and he pledged to deliver what is required of him
